Our managed IT services for small business fit companies of roughly 10 to 150 people that run on Microsoft 365 and don't need a full-time IT department. Maybe the office manager has been resetting passwords on the side. Maybe a nephew set up the network years ago. Either way, you want someone accountable for accounts, devices, security and backups, with a helpdesk your staff can actually reach.

The problems we inherit are remarkably consistent. Former employees still have active accounts. Laptops are set up by hand, so no two are configured the same, and nobody can say which ones are encrypted. Multi-factor authentication is on for some users and off for the owner, who is the most likely phishing target. Everyone assumes Microsoft backs up email and OneDrive, but Microsoft's retention is not a backup, and deleted data eventually disappears for good. Cyber insurance renewals then ask about MFA, endpoint protection and tested backups, and the honest answers are uncomfortable.

We standardize first. Every laptop is enrolled in Microsoft Intune, with Windows Autopilot so new machines ship straight to an employee and configure themselves on first login. Conditional Access and phishing-resistant MFA protect accounts, Defender for Business covers endpoints, and third-party backup protects Microsoft 365 data. Onboarding and offboarding follow a checklist, so access is granted and removed on the day it should be. Monitoring tells us about failing disks and missed updates before your staff do. One thing to know up front: nearly all of this is done remotely, even when you're near one of our offices. For hands-on work like cabling or printer repair, we coordinate a local technician rather than send an engineer across town for a job an electrician does better.

Most US managed IT providers charge somewhere between $100 and $250 per user per month, depending on what's included, and we'll quote a clear per-user price for your scope. Onboarding a new client usually takes 3–6 weeks, including a security baseline and device enrollment.

What we do

Managed IT Services services

01

Microsoft 365 administration

User accounts, licenses, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, managed properly with groups and policies instead of one-off tweaks.

02

Helpdesk support

Staff reach us by email, a ticket portal or phone during business hours for password resets, software issues and the daily questions that eat a manager's time.

03

Device management with Intune

Windows laptops, Macs and phones enrolled in Microsoft Intune with encryption, update rings and app deployment, plus remote wipe for lost devices.

04

Backup and recovery

Independent backups of Microsoft 365 mail, files and Teams, plus any servers or cloud databases, with restore tests on a schedule.

05

Monitoring and patching

Remote monitoring of devices and key services, with operating system and third-party app updates applied on a predictable cycle.

06

Onboarding and offboarding

New hires get a configured laptop and the right access on day one. Departing staff lose access the moment HR says so, and their data is retained.

07

Security baseline

MFA for everyone, Conditional Access, Defender for Business, email filtering and basic user awareness training, aligned with what cyber insurers ask.

08

Vendor and license management

We track renewals, deal with software vendors and ISPs on your behalf, and flag licenses you are paying for but not using.

How we work

What you can expect from us

Standard setup for every device

Every machine follows the same policies from Intune. That consistency makes support faster and security gaps much easier to spot.

Honest about what needs hands

Nearly everything in a Microsoft 365 business can be managed remotely. For the few tasks that need hands, we arrange local help and tell you what it costs.

Written documentation you keep

Admin accounts, network details, vendor contacts and procedures are documented and owned by you, so you are never held hostage by a provider.

Monthly review in plain English

A short report on tickets, security status, backup results and upcoming renewals, with recommendations ranked by risk rather than by upsell.

Process

From first call to production

  1. Discovery

A few working sessions to pin down goals, users, constraints and what "done" means. You get a written scope and estimate.

  2. Design

Architecture, data model and clickable UI before heavy coding starts, so surprises show up early and cheaply.

  3. Build

Two-week sprints with a demo at the end of each one. You see working software, not status reports.

  4. Launch

Automated tests, staged rollout, monitoring and a rollback plan. Go-live should be boring.

  5. Support

Bug fixes, updates and new features on a monthly plan, or a clean handover to your team.

FAQ

Managed IT Services: common questions

How much do managed IT services cost for a small business?

Across the US market, fully managed IT usually runs $100 to $250 per user per month, depending on scope, support hours and security tooling. Microsoft 365 licenses are typically billed separately. We quote a fixed per-user price after a short assessment, so your bill is predictable.

Can you manage our IT without being on site?

For a business that runs on Microsoft 365 and laptops, yes. Accounts, device setup, updates, security and most troubleshooting are done remotely, even by providers down the road. For physical tasks like network cabling or a broken printer, we coordinate a local technician.

Doesn't Microsoft already back up our email and files?

Microsoft keeps your data available and offers recycle bins and retention policies, but it is not a true backup service. If a user deletes something and the retention period passes, or ransomware encrypts OneDrive, recovery options are limited. A separate backup gives you point-in-time restores you control.

What are your support hours?

Our helpdesk runs local business hours from the office closest to you: Eastern Time from New York and Toronto, Central Time from Chicago and Dallas, and local hours in Sydney and Dubai. Because those offices cover most of the 24-hour weekday between them, after-hours coverage for urgent issues can be added to the agreement. We'll agree on response times in writing.

How do you take over from our current IT provider?

We start with a handover checklist covering admin credentials, domain registrations, licenses and documentation. Then we audit the tenant and devices, fix the urgent gaps and enroll everything into our tools over a few weeks. Your staff keep working throughout.
