Dubai's economy runs on trade. Jebel Ali is one of the world's largest ports, the airport links the Gulf to almost everywhere, and the free zones, from DMCC to Dubai Internet City and DIFC, host thousands of trading, tech and financial companies. Real estate and hospitality are huge, fintech has grown quickly around DIFC, and government entities have pushed hard to move services online. For a software development company in Dubai, that means a lot of work that crosses borders, currencies and languages.

Bilingual products are the norm here, not an extra. An app that works in English and Arabic needs right-to-left layouts, Arabic typography and search that handles both scripts, and that's far cheaper to plan in the first sprint than to retrofit. The same goes for AI agent development in Dubai. An agent that answers tenant questions, processes shipping documents or pre-checks a trade license application has to understand both languages and know when to pass the conversation to a person.

We design to the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law, and to the DIFC or ADGM data protection rules when you operate in those free zones. We use UAE cloud regions when data has to stay in the country. Our Dubai team works Gulf Standard Time on the UAE's Monday to Friday week, so you get local hours and a team you can meet in person.

Working with our Dubai office

Our Dubai team works Gulf Standard Time on the UAE working week. Kickoffs, workshops and user testing happen in person when that helps, including Arabic-language sessions with the people who will use the software. Our Sydney and North American offices cover the hours before and after the Dubai day when you need wider support.

FAQ

Software development in Dubai: FAQ

Do you have an office in Dubai?

Yes. Tag4 Technology Solutions has a Dubai office, and UAE clients work with that local team. It is one of six offices, alongside New York, Chicago, Dallas, Toronto and Sydney.

Can you build apps in Arabic and English?

Yes. We set up both languages from the start, including right-to-left layouts, Arabic fonts, and dates and numbers that follow each user's locale. We recommend a native Arabic reviewer for final copy on every launch, because machine translation still gets tone wrong.

Do you follow UAE data protection law?

Yes. We design to the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, and to DIFC or ADGM rules if they apply to you. That covers where data is stored, who can access it and how long it's kept. We don't claim certifications we don't hold, and we'll bring in your legal advisers on anything that needs a formal opinion.

Can you work with our teams in other countries?

Yes. Many Dubai companies have teams in Europe, Asia or North America. Dubai leads your project, and our other offices can join workshops or provide support in their own time zones when your users are spread out.

Have a project in mind?

Tell us what you are trying to build. An engineer reads every message and replies personally. No sales sequences, no pressure.
